Saraswati was originally a river/water goddess in ancient India.
Her name means: "the one who flows."
She is now associated with Self-knowledge,
literature, the arts, music, and communication.
We chose her simply for inspiration.

Studio Saraswati is a community arts endeavor devoted to activism and awareness. We present events and publish books under the auspices of Jambu Press.
